FURNITURE
For non-lacquered furniture:
To enrich the polishing, use straw-oil (available at hardware stores, paint stores, fine arts articles …) once or twice a year.
Important: do not use red oil. It could dye the wood, especially if used repeatedly.
Do not clean with alcohol, chemical products or solvents.
To lubricate the drawer guides, improve scrolling and prevent them to wear out, rub them with candle wax once a year.
Don’t overdo it or else you get the opposite effect.
Do not move the furniture by dragging them on the ground, if the floor is irregular may cause breaking legs, especially slim legs.
Furniture should not be exposed to direct sunlight, do not store in humid environments.
Do not place furniture next to a radiator or heat source.

CHAIRS
Do not swing on chairs. A chair is a completely self-supporting structure; swinging stresses rear pillars and may cause them to break.
Do not rest with your knees on the seat: especially if it is, could break.

In case of small cracks or chips, please avoid DIY repairs.
